White Sage, Salvia apiana, has been used for millennia by Indigenous peoples and is recognized as one of the Four Sacred Medicines of the Anishinaabe. Traditionally, it is burned in ceremony to cleanse spaces, invite clarity, and help lift heavy or stagnant energies.
Each bundle carries the spirit of this sacred plant, offering a moment to pause, ground, and reconnect. The smoke is often used with intention: to clear the air, center the mind, and create space for prayer, reflection, or renewal.
Whether used in ceremony or quiet personal ritual, sage invites you to move with mindfulness, respect, and gratitude.
Available Options
- Loose Sage (by weight): ¼ lb, ½ lb, 1 lb
Care & Use
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
When burning, use a fire-safe vessel such as an abalone shell or heat-resistant bowl. Light gently, allow the flame to catch, then blow out to let the smoke rise. Never leave burning sage unattended.
Respectful Use & Precautions
This is a sacred plant medicine. Please use with care, intention, and respect for its cultural origins.
For uses beyond culinary purposes, sage is not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as it may stimulate menstrual flow and may reduce milk supply.
