Sweetgrass, Hierochloe odorata, is one of the Four Sacred Medicines in many Indigenous traditions across Turtle Island. Known for its soft, sweet aroma, it is often used in ceremony to invite positive energy, healing, and harmony.

Where sage is used to clear, sweetgrass is traditionally burned afterward to bring in kindness, good spirits, and balance. Its gentle, vanilla-like scent comes from the natural presence of coumarin, offering a calming and uplifting experience.

Each braid carries the essence of this sacred plant—an invitation to slow down, set intention, and reconnect with the present moment.

Care & Use

Store in a cool, dry place.

To use, light the end of the braid, allow it to catch briefly, then gently blow out the flame to release smoke. Burn in a fire-safe vessel and never leave unattended.
