Collection: Original Paintings
Art has always been a way for me to honour the stories, teachings, and landscapes that have shaped my life. Every painting begins with a connection—to the land, to memory, to spirit, or to a moment that asks to be remembered.
I am a self-taught artist with more than sixteen years of painting experience, working primarily in acrylic while also creating select works in oil. As a member of Beausoleil First Nation, Thunderbird Clan, with Anishinaabe and French ancestry, my cultural teachings and relationship with the natural world are woven throughout my work. Raised among the shores, forests, and waters of Honey Harbour, Ontario, I continue to draw inspiration from the places, medicines, animals, and seasonal cycles that have guided my journey.
Many of my paintings explore Anishinaabe teachings, the Grandmother Moons, medicinal plants, wildlife, and the interconnectedness of all living things. Others are born from personal experiences of healing, grief, gratitude, and hope. Rather than simply depicting a landscape or subject, each piece tells a story and carries an intention, inviting the viewer to slow down, reflect, and discover their own connection within the image.
Every artwork in this collection is an original painting, created by hand with care, patience, and respect. It is my hope that these pieces become more than artwork on a wall—that they become lasting reminders of our relationship with the land, our ancestors, and the beauty that surrounds us every day.
